Cargo Agents, Inc., staff has extensive experience working with international cargo no matter if it is autos, trucks, heavy equipment, full container or less than container loads. We take the time to make sure that our customers are kept advised of departure and the arrival time of their shipments for both air and ocean shipments. We work with major steamship lines and other carriers to offer a complete international freight service. We also arrange all the documentation required for any international or domestic shipment.

Customs Clearance:

Through a network of local customs broker / agents can arrange clearance of any import shipment into the USA. We maintain a network of local firms that represent us and handle the local documentation for United States Customs. They are all bonded and insured and are in good standing in their local region. If you want us to arrange for any import clearance please note that all the correspondence should be through our main office.

Packing and Crating:

Payment Terms:

• Please note that payment can be made by US Postal Money Order, Certified check, Bank draft.
• Bank Transfer (wire transfer)
• Credit card * (*a processing fee of 4% will be added to the invoice if you use a credit card to cover the fee's charged)
• If credit has been established payment can be made by company check.
• No personal checks are accepted due to the time involved in waiting for them to clear the banks.

Deposits:

• A Deposit will be requested in advance of your shipment in certain cases. A deposit or payment in advance is requested for shipment of household goods and personal effects being shipped by private parties.

• Where we are asked to arrange for inland transportation for shipments of low value goods or Used goods a deposit equal to or greater than the amount of the inland costs we have to pay out or guarantee to the inland carriers is requested.

• For shipment where the party for paying the freight charges is overseas and not a domestic firm with a credit rating.
